This was the greatest album Chris Cornell was on.Tom Morello has great guitar solos.Audioslave in my opinion was better than Soundgarden. When Zack De La Rocha left RATM and the rest of RATM chose Chris as their new vocalist this was a great move. This album has a great balance of heavy songs and emotional songs. My favorite songs are Cochise,Show Me How To Live,Like A Stone,Gasoline,Light My Way,Iam The Highway, and Shadow On The Sun.Heck, this entire album is perfect.Audioslaves two other albums aren't as amazing but they are still great.RIP Chris, may he Rest In Peace.

It's all opinion I know, but the voices of Chris Cornell, Scott Weiland, Layne Staley, David Bowie(that one really hurt) Kurt Cobaine were far less celebrated than Prince and others. Which is wrong. So wrong,so wrong. I know things happen and sometimes people pass way too early or accidents and such, I get that some may have courted death and he showed to meet them. Nobody gets out of life alive and battling the demons within doesn't always have a happy ending. I don't believe Chris committed suicide and no, not tin foil hat conspiracy, just he may have been toying with auto-erotica or another thought was he'd gotten into super shape after cleaning up and maybe was doing human growth hormones which have a nasty side affect of extreme sadness and impulsive to action driven "must do now" thoughts of suicide when not using anymore. We may never know but the man had and was pressing forward on good works and he had three children he adored, a loving wife and his music and fans. The label of suicide is the cause and leaves blank the reasons. I wished somebody would've been in the right place and time to stop him. Anybody for that matter facing the abyss and feeling alone in the darkness. We are after all, as Chris said " I'm all that I really have after all." (Can't change me lyric, forgive if not 100 correct.) Still haunts me know thinking of it. Telling me that Prince will be missed more than of these other legends is just plain stupid and conceited. Thank you for the music, the help thru tough times and the will to face the next set of tough days. Your fan and guy I got a pick from in 2007 Dallas Texas show. RIP

Always loved Chris Cornell's voice. It's so so sad that he's gone, but I'm glad he left us with a plethora of amazing tunes to last my lifetime. Thank you!!!!
