I searched iTunes for "instrumental metal" because that's the kind of mood I'm in. This album came out and, after previewing the tracks, bought it. I understand now why their genre is listed as "instrumental" rather than "metal". It's definitely metal so you'll get your money's worth (and then some!) but the band is clearly made up of talented members who can flourish beyond the metal genre. The standout track for me is "Racecar". I love long instrumental songs so that's perfect for me. It's definitely aggressive but it's also a lot more melodic than I typically picture metal being. Good album, lots of fun and lots of metal! Love it!

I am new to these guys. This is real good s**t!! They need to drop the vocalist or get somebody else. There is somthing about him, to me, that just doesn't fit with this style of music. At times it sounds alright, but listening to the instrumental version is SOOOO much better. He voice is somewhat of a distraction. There is so much talent in this band they don't need a vocalist. I don't know maybe it will grow on me. The screamo stuff kinda annoys me, especially throughout the whole song. If you are going sream please do it in a way where people can understand what you are screaming about.

I was so psyched when i saw this instrumental album! It's awesome. The pinnacle of metal. Much better than that other crap people always put out. These guys have an incredible amount of talent, and such great ears for these melodies and chords. Love it! Spencer is a great singer with a wide range. I found his voice annoying in the beginning, but now i love it! His screaming is also top notch. This band is liiiiiife changing. Liiiiiiiiiiiiiife changing!

I love Spencer's voice, but having vocals at all will, to some degree, cover up the band. This is golden.

Wow!! So much better!!! How can anyone stand listening to Spencer? This is so much better than listening to him whine like he's in an teen emo band and then scream like a banshee for no reason and without musicality. This band is light years ahead of that. I hate that he puts wimpy vocals to an aggressive yet beautiful sound. The sound these guys should stick to is Instrumental. This record goes to show they don't need vocals at all. I loved their playing so much but couldn't stand listening to Spencer. Thank you guys for releasing this record!!
  • THE band to have an instrumental release

This is the perfect band to have instrumental versions of their songs. All of their songs can stand alone without vocals (not to discredit Spencer in any way).

They should have stuck to playing instrumental stuff. JK Spencer. But seriously, great band, amazing album. Such a raw sound. I wish they would've released this in stores though!

Amazing Instrumental Album! If you like hardcore melodic rock with some slow harmonious parts in there, I really don't think it gets much better than this. A few annoying parts in there, but overall very solid, can tell there is a ton of talent with these guys.
