Why were these not included in deluxe edition?
I second the sentiments of other customers here. I too bought the Deluxe Edition only now to see there are four more songs in the Complete Sessions released at a later time. I feel these additional songs should be free downloads to those who already purchased the deluxe version.
The 1 star is no defection on Diana but on the lack of a discounted complete my album option
I agree w review 1: the deluxe should be just that. It's ridiculous to have to add the songs not included from "complete". Also I didn't see that iTunes responded to review 1. Maybe they'll respond to my review.
Diana's voice is like silk. Great soulful renditions. I love it!
Like the Diana we all love
This album is moving back to the Diana we love. Great music for a cocktail party or dinner music. I loved hearing "A Case of You". It is always one of my favorites. I love the duos also. Nothing is like Diana's voice but would love to hear the piano more. Great album.
Diana Krall puts a soulful spin on these songs, very touching and still sultry. I could listen to her all day.
I Tried Very Hard
By Ribeye Lover
I tried so hard to like a song..any song...on this album, but I just can't find one AT ALL. Ms. Krall sounds like a soccer Mom singing along to the radio while stuck in traffic waiting for the light to change: no interest, no enthusiasm, and definitely sounding like she wishes she were somewhere else. I have a few of her older songs, so maybe I shall backfill those albums to remind me why I became a casual fan in the first place.
I like Diana and I'm a big fan of David Foster, but this collaboration is a strikeout; maybe the Blue Jays can restore some of the life that's been sucked out of Canada by this musical misstep.
Why did I buy the Deluxe on iTunes?!?
So, I bought the deluxe version of this album from iTunes approximately six months ago… And already they have a complete sessions?!?
At a minimum, why not let the consumer upgrade, so it will be on one album? If I were to buy the additional songs, then it will show up on 2 different albums.
This, makes me not want to purchase music anymore.
Straying away from her jazz sweet spot
No longer uniquely Diana Krall
