  • Honestly In Love With Every Song

    By AJ Castle
I am grateful for all the musicians/artists/performers who put out their art from their hearts, life experiences, and personal pains and triumphs. I know they don't have to but choose to share the vulnerablity and strengths with their fans while they could make it and keep it to themselves. A Real Good Kid does all that with an honest journey the listener takes one step ( song) at a time. Connecting hearts and ears together in the common goal of healing and searching for happiness after grief with all the scary and confusing emotions in between but there is also hope and winks of joy in these musics too. It has everything. All the songs I do honestly love and will be playing them a lot for this year and years to come I am sure. My personal favorites are Staring At The Fire, Song About You, One More Song and Perfect. The rawness of Drip is a journey all it's own and causes many emotions to rise in me, not all of them I am ready for yet so the time will come when I will play that one more. As for today when I write this review my most repeated song will be How It's Supposed To Be then Noah's Ark which a song not of this album but I love how I feel so much healing and growth between the two songs. Success is not measured by being number one on any list, but being honest and connecting heart and soul with what you are making, giving, and creating, and that is found in A Real Good Kid. Blessed my ears and heart. Thank You to all who made it, and special thanks to the man who it was dedicated to and for whom if he did not exist this would not exist, a lot of people are going to need these lyrics, musics and songs in their lives to get through their own personal struggles and not feel so alone doing it, and I am one of those people. Eternally Grateful.

    Can’t wait!
  • Move On 🎶

    By Gpapaaa
I love the song Move On, nice message, great rhythm, catchy hook .. with the right push it could be a big record. I’ve been keeping my ears peeled for songs Mike’s released over the years. If the three singles are any indication of what’s to come, then this album is going to be solid. Can’t wait to hear the growth on this record and others after it. On future records I hope he draws influence from some of the biggest records of the 70’s .. a couple records from acts like Ace, Jim Croce, America, Stevie Wonder, Doobie Brothers, etc etc
