I heard the song 'Total Experience' on CD101.9 (a former smooth jazz station in New York City area) many times and once CD101.9 became defunct in February 2008 I forgot the name of some of the songs I heard. Plus, I recently stepped into a bank called TD Bank (previously Commerce Bank) and heard the song 'The Total Experience' in the background. I'm glad I found it here.

You guys have to distinguish real jazz from this smooth jazz stuff. Anyone who knows the history of jazz will tell you that smooth jazz is elevator music and for people who don't understand real jazz. In other words, smooth jazz is pop music.

The only drawback to this genre of music is that it doesn't change. I started listening to David Sanborn in the mid-80's, and whenever I hear stuff like this it just all sounds the same.
