NIN is a good band, and this is a good tune, but a monkey on a cross? Really? I don't mean to be a stickler, but that's pretty offensive to me personally.
The creative genius of the director was no doubt influenced by the work of visual artist Joel-Peter Witkin.
This is a true Nine Inch Nails masterpiece. It is so strange yet oddly compelling. Every time I see this video it feels like I am watching it for the very first time. There was so much imagination put into this. I love how the spinning pig heads and millipede were meant to disgust yet attract the viewer. I would be very pleased if The Perfect Drug and Burn were also added.
Nine Inch Nails is Awesome!

Great song and video!!! The video gave me chills and I loved it!
I also think it is pretty funny to read about NIN's lead singer, Marilyn Manson! LOL. I actually think Trent was responsible for Manson's music and career going anywhere if my memory serves me right. Not totally but I am sure he was a big impact. Anyhow, I have liked NIN since high school in the 90's. That being said, Closer is my favorite tune of their's. One word to describe it is awesome. The video is a little strange at first but I think it goes really well with the song. All of these guys videos are so original and good. This is not any different and a personal favorite!
Song an video are great but...

Somepeople need to learn their facts before they say things.
Addicts fan: he never created an album calle the black door. He bought the house where the Manson family murders were and recorded the downward spiral.
Ffdpfan: marilyn Manson is not the singer of nine inch nails, he's the singer of marilyn Manson.
Sorry for going all nine inch nails history guy on you, it's just that trent is like my favorite musician haha
Love it! Please add The Perfect Drug video too!
This is my ultimit favorite song, from an awsome band!!
You know, I like the song, but...

This video is a little too weird for me. It makes me sick (like literally, I get an uncomfortable feeling in my gut when I see this music video). It's just so demonic! It's dementia merely breaches the surface with the directors cut, the real video is like REALLY frightening.
Kinda like a horror movie/music video.
IDK, it's just a little much for me.
Glad to hear the monkey wasn't hurt, as that was one of the main reasons I was put off by this.
Still, doesn't the reference seem sort of satanic? And I'm not even religious...
He put a lot of effort into this video and im glad iTunes has the explicit version, I already bought this, but just wanted to say that this is a visual masterpiece as well as the song itself. But more importantly, I was on yesterday buying vids, I bought S********rs Inc., then later on in the day I went to buy a few more and it said they were "currently not availible in the store". Im like WTF. What happened to the other vids? They only have: We're In This Together", Hurt (Live), Closer, The Hand That Feeds (live), and March Of The Pigs (live). What happened in that same day?
