About 101.1 Big Buck Country
Today's biggest country hits and all-time classics on 101.1 FM
101.1 Big Buck Country is Audacy's country station for Greenville, Spartanburg and the Upstate. It plays today's biggest country hits alongside all-time country classics. Its FCC licence is for WROQ on 101.1 FM, licensed to Anderson, South Carolina, and held by Audacy License, LLC.
Audacy launched Big Buck Country on December 19, 2025, replacing the long-running Classic Rock 101.1. Audacy said it was the first new country station in the region in 40 years, with more music and fewer interruptions each hour. The station's rock audience was moved to sister station 93.3 The Planet (WTPT). Mark Hendrix, Audacy Greenville's operations manager, oversees both stations.
RADIO JOX plays Audacy's own stream for the station. RADIO JOX built the address from Audacy's public Amperwave stream pattern using the station's call letters, and the stream identifies itself as 101.1 Big Buck Country.
