About 94.5 The Arrow

Classic rock for Southwest Florida on 94.5 FM

94.5 The Arrow is a classic rock and classic hits station serving Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral, Sanibel and Marco Island, with the slogan "More Rockin' Less Talkin'". Its FCC licence is for WARO on 94.5 FM, licensed to Naples, Florida, and held by Sun Broadcasting, Inc. The station says its workdays are commercial-free at 9 a.m., noon and 4 p.m.

The station signed on May 8, 1962, as WNFM, the FM sister of WNOG 1270 AM, and first aired automated beautiful music. After a power increase to 100,000 watts it became WCVU ("Sea View") and moved gradually from easy listening to soft adult contemporary. In the early 1990s it switched to all-'70s hits, which led to its current classic rock format.

RADIO JOX plays the station's StreamTheWorld (Triton Digital) stream. The official web player is built on Triton and is allowed to load streamtheworld.com. RADIO JOX built the address from StreamTheWorld's public pattern using the station's call letters, and the stream identifies itself as WAROFM.
