About Thunder 106
Jersey's Best Country on 106.3 and 106.5 FM
Thunder 106 calls itself "Jersey's Best Country". It is one programme simulcast on two FCC licences, both held by Press Communications, L.L.C.: WKMK on 106.3 FM, licensed to Eatontown, New Jersey, and WTHJ on 106.5 FM, licensed to Bass River Township. RADIO JOX lists it once because both frequencies carry the same programming.
The station hosts its own country concerts, including Boots at the Basie at the Count Basie Center for the Arts, where tickets can only be won, not bought. It also runs community contests with local businesses. Listeners can call or text the studio at 732-776-5555.
RADIO JOX plays an AAC stream from Amperwave, the provider behind the station's own web player. The station's site does not publish the direct address. RADIO JOX built it from Amperwave's stream pattern using the station's call letters and confirmed it: the stream identifies itself as Thunder 106.5.
